Quite simple this. Explain what your favourite game of all time is and describe why. If - like me - you've played way too many games over several systems, please post a top three, it doesn't have to be in any particular order.
I myself shall think about this deeply before I make a post detailing my favourites...

My favorite game from ever is Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. Because in my opinion KH2 has a pretty good storyline, it's easy to play, and the final mix version is better because they are extras like cut scenes, things that aren't playable at the normal version.

Ok...this ones gonna be tough. My top would have to be Sonic Adventure 2. Thats what got me into the whole sonic obsession. Second would have to be Megaman 64, playing that as i say this. And third is Mischief Makers, just for the pure fun of that game.

SA2 is indeed a frikkin' fantastic game, and quite possibly the best 3D Sonic ever. You're unlucky; I've been into the hedgehog since about Xmas 1992, when Sonic 2 came out(well technically it was 24/11/92, or Sonic TwosDay 'coz it came out on a Tuesday).
So favourites of all time... well I'd have to say Sonic CD - the Japanese version, because the music is THAT much better. Then Rocket Knight Adventures, followed by Lylat Wars or GoldenEye.

TO DAMNATION WITH YOU, I WANT LYLAT WARS!
And Dynasty Warriors 4 would have to be somewhere in there, maybe 4, competing with mischief makers for top three.

Dynasty Warriors? That's alright if you've got a spare few brain cells that don't mind the endless waves of nameless minions coming straight at you, then away from you, then back at you. All whilst powering up in a horrifically glorious fashion. I agree that DW is a great series(so long as you can stand the repetitive nature of the game) but to put it there with the greats? I'm not convinced

For some reason the endless waves of enemys and leveling up every charecter pleases the obsessive compulsive part of me. But you do have a point there, in terms of combat simulators there are far better games.

One game. Jak and Daxter.
If you haven't played it, and you own a Ps2 or Ps3. Go out and get Jak 2 now. I swear, one page of text could not do it justice.
Jak 2 basically starts, where Jak and Daxter, along with two others (they're found later) are transported into the future. Only to find its a pretty bleak and crap future. then upon arrival Jak is arrested, while Daxter runs away, like the coward he is. Then two years later, Jak has been subjected to dark eco experiments, causing him to have anger issues which involve him turning rather gruesome at times. Of course, after two years, Daxter finally frees Jak. So then your first mission is to escape from prison. Thats fun. Then afterwards, its one wild ride. You honestly just have to try the game out. Its rated one of the top 5 games for the Ps2 ever by critics, but just to few people have played it.

Cant decide where to put it, But the entire Rachet and Clank series is there somewhere, somewhere very very high. Especially after Tools of Destruction.

Metal Gear Solid is a good series, I agree with you there. But my favourite game of all time is Final Fantasy - the entire series I enjoy playing Dynasty Warriors too, along with Age Of Empires, Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate. I'm one who spends a lot of time gaming ^^; So it's a bit hard choosing my absolute favourites.
