Hotaru gasped as the sharp Earthly air caught in her throat; the taste of pollution, metal, and the shock of the sea on the docks contaminating her breath. Hotaru looked around in awe; it was completely different to Soul Society in every way. Whereas Soul Society was as a feudal japan, the modern world was so much more advanced that it both fascinated and sickened her. Finally a weak smile reached her mouth. The beautiful silvery moon hung in the sky like a lantern, a sight which Hotaru never witnessed before. Hotaru twirled around, taking in her ethereal realistic environment until Peishin-sama's voice interrupted her thoughts.
Portable Gigai?
She watched as Peishin pressed on the glass tubes' red button while uttering instructions, and soon enough the manakin like body eventually became a reflection of himself as he walked into it.
Taking one of the glass tubes, Hotaru awkwardly pressed the red button and watched the blank gigai pop into existence. Hotaru hesitated, but took a big breath and walked into the empty body casing. As she opened the gigai's eyes and stretched it's body, she shuddered. "It's umm... a bit tight." Hotaru laughed.

"It's umm... a bit tight," Hotaru laughed.
Peishin chuckled. "It affects everyone differently, but it'll wear off soon."
Now the three of them were in their gigai, Peishin felt it was time to take them on to their accommodation. It wouldn't do to stay out much longer, Old Mother Mismatch knew they were coming and frowned upon tardiness.
"Right. Niirohana-san, Saito-san, follow me."
He led them through the streets, particularly pleased that the experimental gigai were wearing normal Human clothing. Being a less than affluent part of town, there were a few people around even at this time. Drunks, mostly, and some brightly coloured women he knew from past experience were to be especially avoided.
Fifteen minutes later they turned into a well-lit, terraced street.
"Ah, here we are," he announced. "Old Mother Mistmatch's place." He turned to them and grinned broadly. "This is mission HQ, ladies and gentlemen. This is where we're staying for the next few days."
The three of them walked up to the front door. Peishin paused to chuckle at a brass nameplate that read "Mrs Tanaka" and rang the bell. A few seconds later a tinny, crackly voice answered through the intercom.
Yes? What time do you call this?
"Old Mother Mismatch?"
Ah, the voice seemed happier all of a sudden. I'll be right there.
Some time later the door opened and they were ushered inside by a small, frail looking lady dressed in black lace and a purple dress. She wore delicate glasses perched on a large nose and smiled at them affectionately.
"Peishin, it's good to see you," she said. "Who are your friends?"
He gestured at Saito and Niirohana in turn, making the introductions. "This is Old Mother Mismatch," he said, putting his hand on her shoulder. "She's a witch, and she's going to be our hostess for the next few days."
Mismatch smiled. "Come, come inside and sit. I'll fetch some tea."
Peishin led his companions into a dining room cluttered with occult paraphernalia and sat them around a wooden table. The old woman brought in a tray ladened with a large pot of herbal tea and six kinds of biscuit, bid them a good stay, and excused herself.
"I need my beauty sleep, you know," she cackled as she left.
In the silence after her departure Peishin smiled gently. "She thinks she's a witch," he told them quietly. "I humour her, and I'd appreciate it if you two did the same while we're here."
Peishin reached out and poured himself some tea, helped himself to a pink biscuit.
"Alright. We can't begin our mission tonight, not properly, so I propose we use this time to get to know each other a little better." He sipped his tea. "Unless you have any objections?"

Saito looked at the tube and shrugged...
"What will those crazy 12th squad think of next..." He thought to himself.
He held it at arms length as directed and pressed the button, once ready he stepped into his Gigai and it took his form. it was wearing a blue denim jacket and jeans with a plain white t-shirt and Saito's 10th Squad wristband. He stretched his arms out to either side and cocked his head the joints of his new body producing a slight cracking sound. he then shook his arms a bit and regained his urual posture.
"Bit stiff at first but feels better now." he said then watched Niirohana get into hers.
Saito nodded at Louh's order to follow him and kept up pace as they walked to their destination. Though he was slighly perplexed by the old woman he didn't show it and was polite to her, he followed Louh to the dining room and took a seat, smiling to the old woman as she left.
"Well I do have many questions about the mission. Such as our goals and such all I know is there we are here to deal with some Spiritually aware humans who are creating Hollow by accident. Seeing as you have given these portable gigai I assume we're to attempt to negotiate rather than combat them. As for these gigai? will we need some Gikongan to get out of them? or do they have a quick release method? but yes you're right we probably should get to know each other better. A closer team will lead to an easier completion of the mission."
Saito pulled out his Mobile Comunicator and accessed the texting feature.
"Well I guess since I blabbered on so much I should probably start. My friends call me Saidai, because of the Kanji in my name."
he showed on his phone...
斎藤 大智 (Saito Daichi)
"Taking the Sai" again showing the Kanji on his phone 斎
"and Dai" 大
"and putting them together, y'know the usual thing that all the school kids are doing these days..." finally showing on his phone 斎大
"I'm a fairly laid back guy, but when I'm assigned a mission I'm ohn that mission and will remain focused till it's completion. I do enjoy a bit of sake now and again and I'm really proud to be apart of Jyuubantai as 10th seat" he raises his writstband up and points at it. "Ok, I'm not too great at describing myself. so who's next?"
Saito finally finished speaking and looked to Niirohana and Peishin.

"And your specialty is zanjutsu, as we've discussed," Peishin added. "Good. Niirohana-san?"
