OOC:
I'm in, at least for a short while. Entering with Kitano and Mitsurugi.
--- Two men approached the academy. They were of roughly similar height and both had dark hair, but all similarity ended there.
The first, slightly taller and with flecks of grey at the temples, was a taciturn individual dressed in a plain, dark blue kimono. He appeared to be the younger of the two and was attractive, in a hard way.
The second, wearing a black kimono decorated with a golden dragon on the right shoulder, was ugly. His nose was large and bulbous, his face a downcast, narrow-eyed scowl around that central feature. Where the first man was blank-faced this one was full of expression, and all of it was disapproving.
"Won't we be too early?" asked the first. His name was Kitano.
The second, Mitsurugi, replied, "I don't care."
"We'll miss the main party," Kitano pointed out.
Again Mitsurugi replied, "I don't care."
"Only because nobody ever dances with you."
"Shut up," growled the smaller man. "We're here. Let's get this over with."
Shaking his head at his companion's attitude, Kitano followed him inside. They were greeted respectfully by some students and shown through to the main hall.
Quietly, Kitano said. "I knew we'd be too early."
"Shut up," replied Mitsurugi.
"We should have waited, had a few drinks before coming."
Mitsurugi turned on his companion and poked him in the chest with his finger, spitting out his words through his teeth. "You know I hate these things and yet you argued me into coming anyway. You know I'd rather be in my quarters drinking privately tonight. So stop complaining about missing the party and just be pleased I'm here at all."
Kitano's face was unreadable, but Mitsurugi knew at once he'd stepped over a line. The scar on his cheek didn't move because he didn't betray a single inner thought on the surface, but Mitsurugi could feel him counting to ten. Kitano's pale blue eyes dropped to the offending finger, still pressed into the muscle of his chest.
Mitsurugi withdrew it hurriedly.
"Alright," he said, giving in. "We'll stay long enough for you to enjoy yourself."
After a short pause, Kitano said, "Thank you."
"Now come on, let's go get a drink."
Kitano nodded and they made their way to the alcohol.

Tenshi was carrying a clip board with a list of chores for the team to do there were 5 teams Earth (Brown/Orange), Fire (Red/Orange), Water (White/Sky Blue), Wood (Brown/Green) and Metal (Grey/Sliver) all on their sleeves of there arms.
Looking at her schedule the plan is all according to plan.
"OK, the Fire Team are all doing the cooking, Earth Team are meeting and greeting, Metal Team are entertaining." Tenshi is still looking and muttering and reading on. "Wood Team are on their break and the Water Team are slacking off so since there is no washing up to do, I better let them serve the drinks." smiled Tenshi.
As Tenshi is ringing the gong for the water team everyone by the sink was ordered to go to the drinks bar.
"OK Water Team, since you sexy people are not doing washing up for a while, I'm assigning you to the drinks bar, remember... no drinking... ok I'm teasing you can have a drink" said Tenshi with a wink.
--- Enter Husky-Kun ---
A tall buffed up man with a head of a dog was wearing his shinigami uniform and his gauntlets was being followed by 9 other sqaud members accomanied by sake barrels he turned and smiled at his squad members.
Husky-Kun of 7th Squad is walking to the academy to contribute he brought along some barrels of sake for the party.
"Well here we are, we are going to stack these like a pyramid."
Being greated by the students he bowed down to them.
"Ok everyone, I'll talk to Tenshi-chan, the hostess/orginiser of the party, telling her we are here to set up the sake, and I do want you lot on your best behavour you need to remember we have to set an example for those young pups" said Husky-kun in his stern voice.

Mitsurugi watched the canid enter with some squad-mates and begin depositing their sake barrels. He had commandeered a deep rice bowl for his cup, while Kitano kept to the traditional shallow cup. Even in drinking they showed their fundamental differences. Mitsurugi filled his mouth and held the alcohol there, letting the vapour suffuse his sinuses before swallowing. Kitano sipped, savouring flavour over alcoholic content.
"Looks like you were right. The party won't start for a while yet," Mitsurugi admitted.
Kitano said nothing. He was watching the students go to and fro about their chores as they got the place ready. They wore different colours, presumably denoting different squads and duties.
"Have they dyed their uniforms?" he wondered aloud.
Mitsurugi grunted, either an "I don't know", an "I don't care", or both, but then elaborated. "If anyone shows up in my class with their uniforms dyed they'll be taught a lesson they won't soon forget."
His placid friend nodded. "Who's organising this?"
He uttered another dismissive grunt, as he really didn't care who had landed themselves with such a job. One of the more spineless sensei, probably. He was scanning the room, picking out faces he knew but searching for one in particular.
"She's not here yet," Kitano said, mildly.
Mitsurugi glanced at him suspiciously. "Who?"
"Never mind, it's not important. Come on, let's go find a seat. My back's giving me trouble."
It was a rare occasion for Kitano to vocalise his pain without prompting, so Mitsurugi didn't argue. Instead he joined his friend in searching for somewhere to sit, thinking he might collar a student to direct them.
This he did. He grabbed a young girl with a clipboard by the scruff of the neck.
"You, er," he faltered.
Kitano supplied her name, peeling his friend's hand off her at the same time. "Keki."
"Yeah, that's right. Keki, show us to a table, girl. We'll sit awhile."

Tenshi was grabbed by the cruff of the neck and she turned around and hid her face behind the clip board all but showing her eyes.
"You, er..." said Mitsurugi in his gruff voice.
Itsuru looked out for a bit and watched Tenshi with one of his former teachers, he assumed Tenshi is in some kind of trouble trying not to make a scene, he shrugged and continued playing on the drums as his time to change shift is comming soon.
Tenshi giggled "Ofcourse, I'll be happy to help you, call me Victoria Sponge, Tenshi Keki is my pen name." she addded "No cake jokes, OK?" she winks and blew a kiss.
Looking around Tenshi looked around she knew where the best seats are she led the 2 sensei to the best seats.
"There you go gentlemen, Near the food and drink, and away from the music and people on a break." said Tenshi in her cheerful mood.
Tenshi bowed down to her guests.
"Please excuse me, I need to change the shifts, but if you need anything just ask... and by ask... I mean by clicking or waving." still in her cheerful Mood Tenshi rang the five gongs.

Groups: Earth >>> Water >>> Wood >>> Fire >>> Metal
(e.g Itsuru is in Metal so he was in Entertainment and Changing to Meeting and Greeting.) ---

"A nice girl," Kitano commented as Sponge bustled off. His friend's answer was a predictable grunt. "She might have offered to refresh our drinks though. Now you'll have to go do it for us."
"Me?" Mitsurugi blinked. "Why me?"
"My back hurts."
"You should've brought your cane," he said, getting up.
Kitano nodded. "It doesn't help, but you're right. I should have brought it. I hate to think of myself as the kind of man that needs a walking stick, though."
"There's no shame in it, man. Have you got something for the pain?"
"Some medicine." Kitano replied. He paused thoughtfully. "I usually try not to take it, but tonight I think I will."
"Good. I'll get us a refill."
Mitsurugi went off to the nearby tables laden with drink and food, muttering to himself about stubborn old men and useless pride. Kitano watched him go and found his eyes wandering the room.
He spotted Itsuru, and waved.

Itsuru seemed to be standing and waiting for more people to come until he saw someone waving at him, the young boy pointed at himself and started to walk at the table. He walked towards the table where the man in a dark blue kimono was sitting and waving at him, he was with Mitsurugi and this made Itsuru rather intimidated when the young boy came closer and closer he started to notice the scar on his right side of his cheek he felt sorry for him.
"Poor guy, maybe he needs some company, heck Mitsurugi-sensei is more ogre then a man." thought Itsuru.
As Itsuru got to the table where the man is sitting he finally got there standing infront of the man.
"Hi there? erm... Is there anything can I help you with?"

"I just thought I'd say hello," Kitano replied. "By the way, you're doing much better in your hakuda lessons lately. Have you had outside help? I'm sure I see you walking with the canid on occasion, did he tutor you?"

OOC: Yeah I can see that, it's a BIG school so they have to have more teachers and such (like there could be like errr... Thousands of students) I doubt the anime equivelent to snape (I mean Mitsurugi, the soul calibur refugee can't teach 'em all ;D)
But you must know Itsuru is the dark horse (under achevier) in the academy. But if you said he improved... that is good enough for him. ;D ---
Itsuru smiled when Kitano complimented on his improvement on Hakuda.
"Haha, well I do find it hard to consentrate in lessons so..." Itsuru nodded "yeah, I had some outside help with the academy's after school program and asking one or two people in the school to help me out"
but when Kitano-Sensai asked if his Canid helped him Itsuru breathing in with his teeth sounding quite grimice.
"No, Husky-Kun dosn't tutor me, sure he wakes me up in the morning, go for a walk with him and helping me get ready for school."
Itsuru smiled again at Kitano to make sure he was assured.
"But the one who I should really thank is Peishin-San, I'm just glad someone like him had alot of patience and understanding."

OOC: Now that Itsuru knows the (very) basic soul manipulation techniques (e.g. spiritual perception) his overall skill should have become more focused, however slightly. One thing, I don't think "dark horse" means what you think it means.
--- As was his habit, the straight-faced sensei stared at the boy for a few moments before answering, "I don't know anyone who goes by the name Peishin, but I'm glad you found someone to help."
"Itsuru?" Mitsurugi returned, sitting next to his friend. "What are you doing here?"
"I called him over to talk," Kitano said mildly. "But he's a busy boy and has things to do. You should run along, Itsuru-san. We old men will sit here and enjoy ourselves."
